Allyssa and Tyler’s love story has been years in the making, and getting to capture this season for them was so special. Having the privilege of photographing two of our former high school classmates was such an honor! It’s always so meaningful to document a love story you’ve witnessed grow over time.

These two are high school sweethearts, and it feels like they’ve been together for as long as I can remember. Their love is just as sweet and genuine as ever, and you can see it so clearly in the way they interact with each other. Even on a 20-degree winter day in Springfield, Illinois, they made everything feel warm and magical.

We caught the most beautiful winter sunset at Southwind Park, and despite the cold, they were absolute troopers. From quiet, intimate moments to laughter in between shots, their connection is so natural and tender, which made every moment effortless to capture.

We can’t wait to celebrate their two-part wedding this June—it’s going to be such a special and unforgettable celebration!
